Muslim (1909) narrated from Sahl ibn Hunayf (may Allah be pleased with him) the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) explained: “Whoever sincerely asks Allah for martyrdom, Allah will lead to him to attain the standing from the martyrs, even though he dies in his bed.”&
